The day in manual order, the week as a Board
Today shows what is planned, what is overdue and what comes next, with quick add at the top. Overdue tasks stay in Overdue until you complete, move or archive them; nothing is rolled forward on its own.
- Day, week and month views that separate planned tasks, deadlines and recurring previews, and never mix them.
- The Board with a column per day: the card lifts and follows the pointer, a placeholder shows where it lands, columns scroll, reorder and collapse. Space picks a card up from the keyboard.
- Recurring series: daily every N days, weekly on chosen weekdays, monthly on a day of the month. A 31st in a short month is skipped, never moved. Pause, resume or end a series; each occurrence is an ordinary task.
- One reminder per task, at a time or before the deadline, plus a morning briefing and an evening review at the time you choose. Notifications are per device and off until you turn them on.
- Time zones done right. A series keeps its own zone; a searchable picker lists regions, offsets and local times.
- Reviews from history: morning briefing, evening review, weekly review and unfinished work with four explicit actions: complete, reschedule, keep overdue, archive.
Nothing is deleted. Nothing is rewritten.
A task has a title, a description, a priority, labels, a checklist, a planned day and a due time. Every meaningful change appends an event to an immutable history, worded in your current language when you read it.
- A move belongs to both days. Monday still shows the task was planned there and moved away; Wednesday shows it as planned.
- Archive instead of delete, and restore with the complete history.
- Comments and relations. Comments are events on the task, searchable; prayer anchors, series, loans, renewals, expenses, notes, people and shares appear as chips in the task and as glyphs on Board cards.
- Manual order or sort by priority, with reorder controls that work from the keyboard and with a screen reader.
Blocks of text, checklists, files and drawings
Notes are a writing space of their own with search, filters, pinned notes and an archive. A note is an ordered layout of blocks; each block moves up and down.
- Drawing canvas with pen, eight colours, three widths, an eraser, undo and redo, for mouse, touch and stylus. Strokes stay editable; every finished drawing is an immutable revision, and unfinished work waits as a draft.
- Attachments up to 25 MiB each, dropped, picked or shared in.
- Create task from note: text, checklist with its checked state, labels and priority carry over; the task links back to the exact revision, and a double tap can never make two tasks.
- Export one note as PNG or PDF (A4 or Letter, 1× or 2×), or many notes as text, Markdown or a dizay backup with editable drawings. Import text, Markdown and dizay backups with a preview of what will be created. Everything runs on your device.
- Show in widget puts a note with its checklist on your home screen.
A chat that plans with you, and changes nothing without you
Ask in Arabic, French or English, typed or spoken. The assistant reads the tasks, notes and history of your account, answers in a stream, and turns every change into a proposal card you confirm, edit or dismiss.
It proposes, you decide
Creating, moving, completing or drafting something arrives as a card with exactly what would change. Confirm, edit first, or dismiss. Every action is validated by the same rules the app uses, so a proposal can never do what a tap could not. Money drafts count in no balance until confirmed.
Three workflows
Daily planning, Unfinished work and Weekly review run from the composer's workflow chip over a bounded snapshot of your own tasks, notes and history, and return proposals you apply one by one, with tool result cards in the thread.
Voice messages
Hold to record from the composer, or record, pause, resume, preview and attach an audio file. The transcript becomes the message; the original audio and every correction are kept under your retention rule: keep, transcript only, or a number of days. Transcription runs through your own provider connection.
Threads and streaming
A thread list with search, pinned threads and grouping by day; categories such as personal, work, ideas or planning; streamed replies with Stop; the same conversation can switch models.
Your key or our allowance
Connect OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude) or DeepSeek with your own API key on any plan. Paid plans include a monthly dizay allowance, and the Free plan a one-time trial, so you need no key at all. A missing or exhausted key never silently falls back to ours. See the allowances.
What it never sees
Your vault and authenticator, your people's phone numbers, your sessions and connections. Account numbers in your ledgers are masked before anything is read. A request made offline waits in a durable queue and runs when you reconnect.
Your contacts, linked to your work. Messages stay yours to send.
People holds names, roles, phone numbers, WhatsApp numbers and Instagram handles, typed by hand or copied from your address book when you ask. A person links to tasks, notes and reminders.
- Handoffs, not messaging. A confirmation sheet shows the exact target and an editable draft; one button opens the phone app, SMS, WhatsApp or Instagram. dizay never sends anything itself.
- History records the channel, the target and the outcome, never the message.
- The assistant can draft a message; it goes through the same sheet.
Ledgers that never lose a line
Four optional tools for the money and things that move between you and other people. Entries are appended, reversed or settled, never edited away, and balances are folded from them on every device, per currency.
Loans & IOUs
Money (amount and currency) or a physical item (name, quantity, condition) lent to or borrowed from one of your people, with a date, an optional due date and a note. Record payments and returns, settle the remainder, reverse a mistake. Balances owed to me, I owe and net per person and per currency. Every open obligation with a due date has a linked task ("Collect 1 000 MAD from Omar") kept up to date.
Shared expenses
Groups for a trip, a home, an event or a project, with participants you manage privately. Split each expense equally, by exact amounts, percentages or shares, computed to the cent so the total is always conserved. Balances per participant and currency, fewest-transfers suggestions recorded as settlements in one tap, and a "Settle up" task per group while you owe or are owed.
Accounts with people
One running account per person with tags. Immutable entries: due, payment with date, time, method and destination, reversal, settlement. Totals on both sides with a net. Destination account numbers are masked everywhere and excluded from prompts, shares and exports. Attach proofs from the picker, the camera or share-in; on paid plans the assistant reads a proof into a draft entry you check. Share read-only without destinations, export a PDF statement.
Renewals
Subscriptions, documents and anything that renews on a date, with the amount, a lead time and a reminder task before each renewal, linked back to the renewal.
Encrypted on your device. Opaque to everyone else.
Every vault entry is encrypted on your device under a random vault key that never leaves it in clear. The key is wrapped by your passphrase and by a recovery key shown once at setup. The server, the backoffice, the assistant, search, sharing, history and logs see ciphertext or nothing.
- Unlock with the passphrase, the recovery key, or the device's biometrics on Android and iOS. Your account password never unlocks the vault. It locks after five minutes idle, in the background, on sign-out and on every web reload.
- Entries with folders, labels, search, reveal and copy, a local password generator, an encrypted per-entry history, archive and restore, and an encrypted portable backup.
- Import Google Password Manager and Apple Passwords CSV files, parsed on the device.
- Authenticator: time-based codes (6 or 8 digits, SHA-1/256/512) computed inside the vault's lock; codes are never stored, logged or synced. Add by QR, otpauth link or by hand; import Google Authenticator migration QRs locally; the app corrects clock drift.
Times computed on your device, tasks that follow them
The prayer tool computes the five daily times with the standard methods (Muslim World League, Egyptian, Umm al-Qura, Karachi, Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Moonsighting Committee, North America, Singapore, Tehran, Turkey) and the Morocco parameters, Fajr 19° and Isha 17°, with the madhab, the high-latitude rule and per-prayer adjustments. The settings name the parameters; the app claims no official timetable.
- Location from a city catalogue with Moroccan cities first, coordinates, or your device's location on demand.
- Prayer-anchored tasks and series, before, at or after a prayer, resolved per day. A manual move detaches the link visibly; a settings change recalculates open anchored tasks and keeps the previous time as evidence.
- Everywhere it matters: a day view with the next prayer and the time left, a strip on Today, markers in the calendar, a badge on task rows.
One record, read-only, to one person
Open a task, a note, an expense group, a loan or an account with a person and choose "Share…", then type the other person's dizay username. They receive an invitation under More › Sharing and, once accepted, a read-only copy of that one record.
- Nothing else of yours: no people details, links, reminders, history or credentials. An account shares its entries and totals without destinations; proofs only when you include them.
- Revoke any time; the copy leaves every device of the recipient on its next sync. Grants, acceptances, refusals and revocations are append-only history.
- Never the vault. No write access, no sharing with people without an account.
Your device first. Your files always.
Offline first
The app is a complete workspace without a connection. Signing in adds synchronization: changes queue locally and upload in order, then other devices' changes download. A status chip shows Up to date, Syncing, Offline, Changes waiting or conflicts.
Conflicts kept, not discarded
When two devices change the same field offline, the server keeps one version and records the other as a conflict. You keep yours, theirs or a merged value; drawings can keep both. Different fields, labels, checklist items and order merge on their own.
A full workspace backup
Settings › Data › Create full backup writes a file with your tasks, notes, series, complete histories and drawings, never sessions, tokens, credentials or vault material. Restore reviews every record before writing and offers unverifiable ones as explicit new copies.
Portable formats
Notes as text, Markdown, PNG, PDF or a dizay notes backup; a PDF statement per account; an encrypted vault backup. Imports show what will be created before anything is written, and never replace an existing note.
Two-factor login, every device in view, deletion on your terms
- Registration with an email, a username and a password of 12 characters or more, checked against known breaches; sign-in waits for the emailed verification link.
- Two-factor login with an authenticator app or emailed codes, plus ten recovery codes shown once.
- Devices: every session listed, sign out per device or everywhere else; a password reset signs out everywhere.
- Accounts kept apart on a shared device: each account has its own local partition; guest data joins an account only through an explicit consent.
- Deletion from Settings › Account with your password and a 14-day grace period you can cancel; then every row and file is purged and a confirmation is emailed. See how to delete your account.
- Under the hood: passwords hashed with Argon2id, sessions in an HttpOnly cookie on the web and the platform keychain on phones, row-level security on every owner-scoped table, encrypted server backups with a rehearsed restore, logs with secrets redacted. Admin views see metadata only, never a task, note, chat, drawing or recording, and every read is audited.
Three languages, three platforms, one history
Arabic, English, French
Change the language in Settings and the whole interface follows at once, with a full right-to-left layout for Arabic, Moroccan month names and Western digits. Your own text is never translated. History is worded in the current language when you read it.
Web, Android, iOS
One universal app: an installable web app with storage in the browser, and native Android and iOS apps with an on-device database, share-in, widgets, the camera for proofs and QR codes, and biometric unlock for the vault. The store apps follow the public release.
Ads on the Free plan only
A banner at the bottom of the main tabs and an occasional sponsored card in lists, never on the vault, the authenticator, settings, sharing, exports, the drawing canvas, widgets or notifications. You choose personalized or non-personalized ads first; refusing never limits the app. No content, titles, contacts or location are used for targeting. Paid plans show no ads.
Plans and billing
Free, Starter and Advanced. Pay by card or PayPal on the web, or through the App Store and Google Play. One subscription per account, cancel any time, and losing a plan only limits creating new records: reading, exporting, backing up and unlocking the vault never depend on a plan. Compare the plans.
